Measure. Identify hotspots. Drive decarbonization.
Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) measures total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated across the entire life cycle of a product.
From raw material extraction to production, transport, use, and end-of-life. PCF provides companies with clear, quantified insight into where emissions occur and how they can be reduced, enabling data-driven climate action, regulatory compliance, and stronger market positioning.
What PCF enables
Quantified product-level carbon footprint (CO₂e)
Identification of emission hotspots across the life cycle
Support for decarbonization and Net Zero strategies
Compliance with ISO 14067, GHG Protocol, CSRD, CBAM, Ecodesign, DPP
Stronger position in sustainable supply chains and procurement
Transparent and credible communication with customers and stakeholders
What you gain with PCF?
Verified product carbon footprint (CO₂e)
Clear emission hotspot analysis
Support for Net Zero and decarbonization strategies
Compliance with ISO 14067, GHG Protocol, CSRD, CBAM, Ecodesign, DPP
Stronger position in sustainable supply chains
Credible climate communication and reportin
Who is PCF for?
Manufacturers — to understand and reduce product emissions
SMEs & suppliers — to meet customer and supply-chain (Scope 3) requirements
Large companies — to support decarbonization, Net Zero, and CSRD reporting
Exporters to the EU — for CBAM, Ecodesign, and Digital Product Passport readiness
Product & sustainability teams — for data-driven design and climate strategy
Companies in sustainable markets — to communicate credible product carbon data

How PCF is developed
Define scope and product system
We define system boundaries, functional unit, and life-cycle stages (cradle-to-gate or cradle-to-grave). This ensures alignment with ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol Product Standard.
Collect life-cycle data
We gather primary and secondary data on materials, energy use, manufacturing, logistics, packaging, use phase, and end-of-life. Reliable data is the foundation of a credible carbon footprint.
Calculate carbon footprint
Using verified emission factors and LCA databases, we calculate total GHG emissions expressed in CO₂-equivalent (CO₂e) and identify emission hotspots across the value chain (Scope 1, 2, and product Scope 3).
Interpret and reduce
We translate results into actionable insights — identifying reduction opportunities in materials, energy, design, and supply chain. The PCF supports decarbonization strategies, customer requirements, CBAM/CSRD alignment, and transparent communication.
